Tallinn Old Town & Kadriorg-Pirita Seaside Tour
This tour gives you a panoramic glimpse of Tallinn and its surrounding points of interest, as well as an in depth Walking Tour of the the Old Town in Tallinn. Over the course of five hours, you will become well acquainted with the local history and culture of life in Tallinn. Some time will be used for shopping and free time.
Tour runs with any number of people signed up (for most, but not all, cruise ships.)
This tour is not recommended for wheelchair passengers, and if a person with a wheelchair decides to participate he/she must have a personal helper to assist in boarding/disembarking the vehicle, and entering the restrooms and restaurant, and all sites. At certain locations a wheelchair person may not be able to exit the bus, and may have to stay inside the bus.

The starting time of your tour will appear on your reservation confirmation (depends on when the cruise ship arrives). You will disembark the ship and need to walk 200-300 meters to meet the tour guide outside the port gates where all independant operators are gathering.
Afterwards you will start with a stunning scenic tour of the coastal areas on your way to Kadriorg & Pirita. You will get out and see the exterior of the Baroque style Kadriorg Art Museum and visit the gardens, built by Peter the Great, the delightful Song Festival Grounds and the ruins of the St. Bridget’s Convent. A photo stop at the striking Soviet style ensemble of the 1980s Olympic Village will also be included.
|01:45 : 03:30||As you drive back into the city, you'll see the legendary Viru Hotel where the KGB Museum is housed, the Estonian Opera and Ballet House, old Soviet residential buildings, and samples of typical Estonian wooden houses and Freedom Square with Freedom monument on the footsteps of the historic Old Town. A 15 minute break for restrooms will be included, along with some shopping opportunities. Once on Toompea hill, which in Estonian mythology is the location for the grave of King Kalev, you will continue with a splendid stroll through the Upper Old Town. You will learn from your guide about the history and everyday life of this small country. With its romantic, cobble-stoned streets, charming red roofs, and medieval and Gothic style houses, Tallinn's Old Town is the best-preserved old town in Northern Europe. After an inside visit to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, you will admire the exterior of Toompea Castle, which today houses the Estonian Parliament, and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Lower Town from the hills of the Upper Town.|

|03:50 : 04:10||Next you will descend into the Lower Old Town. You'll see the fortified town wall with its 25 towers, the Town Hall, and one of the oldest continuously running pharmacies in the world in the Town Hall Square. The walking tour ends near the enchanting St. Catherine’s Passage and the Viru Gates on Viru Street.|
