Time Description
09:30 : 10:00

A representative from SPB-Tours will meet you with the SPB-Tours sign in the port of Nynäshamn 20 minutes prior to the starting time of the tour. You will be shown your way to your vehicle waiting for SPB guests.

10:00 : 10:45 Relax on the 45-60 * minutes drive through the countryside to Stockholm. Once in Stockholm, you will meet your tour guide.
10:50 : 11:15

Your Stockholm guide will meet you at the City Hall. Here at the venue for the Nobel banquet taking place on the 10th December you will learn about Alfred Nobel and the  Nobel Prizes. From the gardens terrace of the City Hall you will have a splendid view over the waters of Lake Mälaren and  the islands of Riddarhomen and Södermalm.

11:20 : 11:40

Take a scenic ride to Stockholm’s greenest island, Djurgården.

11:45 : 12:45

Upon arriving to Djurgården, you will have a guided visit in the famous Vasa Museum with the world’s best-preserved 17th century warship, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged in 1961

12:50 : 13:10

Back on the bus, you will continue with the panoramic drive through Stockholm. The bus will take you through  Östermalm, the posh district of Stockholm, along  Strandvägen, Stockholm’s most beautiful boulevard with hundreds of boats on one side and elegant buildings  on the other. From the bus you will see sights such as the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Raoul Wallenbergs Torg, Kungsträdgården,  Riksdag, The Houses of the Swedish Parliament, The Royal Palace, The Royal Opera and much more.

13:20 : 13:50

Begin the walking tour of Gamla stan, giving you the chance to explore charming Old Town up close. You will begin at the Royal Palace and make your way through the streets of the city. You will see Storkyrka (Coronation Church), the Finnish Church, Järnpojke (at only 15cm, the tiniest public sculpture!).

Our suggestions for your free-time:  A visit to Storkyrka, Stockholm’s Cathedral  also known as Coronation Church (entrance is 60 SEK, or approximately 6 USD), a  free visit in Livrustkammaren ( Armoury) with artefacts of Royal armoury, carriages and war booties from the17th century.

14:55 : 15:25

Refreshed and with new energy, we start the second part of the Old Town Walk where we will  pass Stortorget (the Old Town market square), the Nobel Museum, Tyska Kyrkan (German Church), and Stockholm’s narrowest alley.

15:30 : 16:30 Drive back to Nynäshamn
16:30 Back at the port of Nynäshamn.
