Tallinn Old Town & Kadriorg-Pirita Seaside Private Tour With Lunch
We will stroll this unique combination of the Toompea hill and lower town at its foot from the Viking era legends to modern tales. On the way to some of the most striking panoramic viewpoints, we will admire the Estonian Parliament, oldest cathedral established by Danes in the 13th century and the medieval fortifications boasting a town wall and it´s towers.
Winding streets lead us also to the Lower Old Town, where goods from around the world were once sold on the Town Hall Square and where a 600-year old medieval pharmacy still operates today. One of the most picturesque walkways, St. Catherine's Passage will then lead us to from the delightful old town atmosphere towards the modern side of Tallinn.
During the panoramic sightseeing drive, we will see some of the most elegant architecture with Peter the Great´s Kadriorg Palace, Presidential Office, KUMU Art Museum and eerily beautiful ruins of St. Bridget's Convent. This scenic seaside road will also take us past a sprawling concrete panel house area of Lasnamäe for a look at typical Soviet ear buildings, as well a photo stop at the impressive TV Tower, the highest building in Estonia.
Lunch will be served in a venue with the most unforgettable view of Tallinn over the Baltic Sea. Even the most avid gourmand will be charmed by the gorgeous interior and serene coastal views during an inspiring meal to end a day of exploring in style before a return transfer to cruise port/ hotel.
