Stutthof Concentration Camp & Gdansk Old Town Private Tour
A visit to Stutthof Concentration Camp is a thought-provoking experience learning about the first and longest operating Nazi concentration camp in Poland. Our day trip itinerary also includes the beautiful Gdansk Old Town and a city sightseeing tour.
Located in a secluded wooded area near the small town of Sztutowo, the Stutthof Concentration Camp is about an hour's drive from Gdansk. We will explore the area with the help of guided commentary through the camp quarters, pay our respects at the memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and learn the history behind the camp's liberation in 1945.
From the disheartening past of Stutthof, we return towards the cultural and architectural splendor of Gdansk. From the impressive monument of Solidarity, erected as a true testament to freedom, we will stroll down some of the most beautiful streets and squares in Europe.
We will, for instance, admire the striking Oliwa arch cathedral, the Long Market, Town Hall, and the Neptune Fountain. A unique blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, meticulously restored in accordance with medieval traditions, creates this charming ambiance of the Gdansk city center and seaport.
